It was a better day for me overall..

Well i'm off to work, again.
This time officially starting the job i got from jobstreet.com, as a bank clerk doing data entry in Standard Charted Bank.
I'm currently on a DIAS project (Document Imaging Analyzing System) i think..
I need to complete 30+ batches, 1 batch consist of 60 accounts, 1 accounts many pages!
So far, the fastest i've done is completing one batch in an hour's time.
The task i need to do for one batch is...
remove staple>arrange accounts>scan>key in data>rearrange accounts,remove extra paper>staple>pack
That's tiring..
The WORST is when the papers for an account has more than 20 pages & it takes like ages for me to remove the huge staples!!
The stupid staples already caused damage to my nails & i'm also getting paper cuts on my hand..
I don't really like office work after all..

NO, i'm not saying that cos i'm a princess or anything..
It's just that i don't think i could handle 24/7 being in the office.
I need some life, action, out of office talks!
lololol~~

Since i'll be busy with other stuff for the few weeks later..
decided to just spend some time shopping with lovely ah Yan
but
shopping is boring in Mlk..
we'll end up seeing back the same stuffs & back to the same shops.
not that we don't want variety, we don't have variety. =(

Miss Soon was expected to join us but she's just too tired from her own honeymoon trip.
hehe...
Anyhow.. there's still few things that caught our eyes..

It's the morning ceremony for the wedding..

Had to get up early just to be there before the bridegroom arrives..
Everyone was dressed up well with the white pretty bride filling in the space in the room with her big gown.
haha...
According to Chinese custom, the guy will arrive at the gal's place at a certain time & bring her back to his house before noon.
There are many more traditions to be practiced during the wedding,
like the bridegroom should wear the heels for the bride before bringing her out of the bride's room.
For their new bed, little kids (more like boys only actually) must jump around or lie down on their bed for the meaning of getting a son as their baby.
There's also this spittoon ('tham thong' in canto) where the little boy will poke or step on it or smtg like that for i not sure what. hahah
Another tradition is the gal's brother or someone close will open their cupboard for i dont know what. lol

But i just know that there's lots n lots of traditions..
which i'm interested to know their meanings as well.
At least now it's no more like olden days, where the brides wearing the red cute clothes. :D

It was a girl's day out..

After the hair cut decided to meet up with Sherry & Sandy
It's been ages since i last seen the oh-so-actively noisy Sandy
& few weeks of self-proclaimed-cute Sherry
LOL..






It was a great day after all.
After some walk in Mp, we headed back home for a round of swimming..
Fabooolous!
We own the pool & the warmth of the water was so relaxing!

I miss swimming around at my sis's place.. ; )

It's time again to cut cut cut!
It's been 2 months plus since my last hair cut.
The hair's starting to get all messed up so decided for a hair cut with ah Yan.
This time, we tried D'fino a saloon somewhere in BB.

The environment is clean & neatly arranged..
They even have a maid to clean up things for them. lol

& yes omG, my hair is short.
As in the fringe is soO short!!
It doesn't look as long as the picture above.
The shape however made my hair with more volume which is good. lol
BUT
I feel like a small gal with grown education. : (
Ahh yess... i'm so going to eat more vegetables for my hair to grow just a little more for it to look just the way i like it!!
I'm going for a wedding tomorrow n it's sad going around with my shortie hair.

Second day was much better, not being so tired.
Maybe it shows how important sleep is.
Each time i sleep late, laziness tend to fill me up for the day.

Being happy, joyful, or even grumpy,

So...even if u're feeling lazy or tired, just smile smile smile!!

Back to my days in office...
Sometimes i think the amount of paper i print & photostat can even reach 200!
But if i'm not given any task to do, i'll get bored & start asking for things to do..
I cant be sitting down not helping right...
Oh, btw i think i'll get used to phone ringings & Indian language very soon now.
Phone rings non-stop till it doesn't bother much at all
The ladies speak Indian till i find the language so funny
Sometimes even if they're talking seriously, I'll start laughing

Ssserriously.... it's funny! LOL
Speaking of mua boss..they treat me really well.
They even feel bad cos i have to work for them.
Not that they're paying me or anything.. :s
But sometimes i have lunch at their house upstairs, with good delicioous food!
At least that's satisfying.. hehe..

Tomorrow will be my last day in dad's office..
But
i'm thinking of not going..
so that i can go cut hair & settle my stuffs.
Laziness is just too over!

Day One

as a paper girl.

Today started off some office work in my dad's office, Elemac
Didn't have enough sleep last night, so started work with a little daze
& I actually yawned when one of the lady was explaining!
I tried to cover up but seems like she caught me.
Only thing i can think of is, oh Shit!
hahha...
But well..it all went alright.
The people were kinda friendly,
and the hours seems to be continuing one after another non-stop
papers & papers just keep coming in.
Printing, sticking, writing, typing, photostating, arranging,,
blah blah blah..

Next time i need to find something more exciting to make my day!

I'm tired..

The best part of the dinner is the food cos they are all great, filling me with delicious food!
The bad part is that many of those attended are elderly people.

Mother's day
is just two more days..
What's all you loving daughters & sons getting for your mums?
Mothers are the reason that we exist.
From the instance the spermie and ovumie combines to form us, our mums have such a huge responsibility to nurture us & bring us up till this very day..
Like they say,

the hand who rocks the cradle rules the world.

It shows how important mothers are, as they are the one who mostly rocks the cradle for us every day & night. Of course, i'm not saying that our dad are not important.
We have Father's day as well to appreciate them. :D

This mother's day, don forget to express yourself in all different ways

For many many years i've not been to Singapore,
that's the main reason i followed my dad on his one-day-company-trip to Sg for a machine exhibition.
I only had around 5 hours sleep & was really reaaaly reluctant to leave my bed.
After a morning call n everything felt much better. : D

We stopped by at Yong Peng, some area in JB for their famous fishball.
I like how their fishball were so bouncy and crunchy.
I love fishballs!

Approaching the customs, I noticed this (security guards or army?)
Look properly.. I find him really 'yeng'. LOL

Welcome to Singapore, by the greenies there

We headed for Suntec City, where the exhibition being held.
Everyone was wearing smart, with their formal attire whereas me, feels out of place with my comfy jeans. =))
But but buuTt... i'm an Elemac engineer for a day, working for my dad. hehe

Some of the booths & machines in the hall..
The exhibition is not as boring as it seems..
I'm really amazed by how the machines are being created, assembled & then worked to produce the chips.
I like to investigate every machine to check on how they work & produces the product..
Besides, spending my time looking at my dad socializing & doing business with everyone that he knows.

This has no meaning.
I just like it for the colorful lights. lol


After 4 hours of walking around n round n around the huge hall..
Finally heading home!
